HAZUR Basic
This is the online software included in the certification courses of the HAZUR Academy. It includes the basic functionalities to build your own city project while learning about resilience thinking and the HAZUR approach for cities. With this version participants in the HAZUR certification process have a first contact with the HAZUR® software to test, play and experiment with it.
HAZUR Assessment
Helps to summarize all city data, to analyze interdependencies in service networks, to assess impacts’ aftermaths and cascade effects. It also enables the identification and priorization of potential improvement projects, facilitates the definition of crisis management protocols and suports a strategy development process.
In addition Hazur Assessment it is the perfect tool to lead the implementation of new urban platforms designed for resilience allowing the city to know exactly which technologies and devices are to be installed and where to install them to really bring new capacities for cities.
HAZUR Manager
Combines the Assessment information with real-time information and enables the simulation of risk situations at city level (city modelled as a system of systems). It also equips the cities and experts with tools for service network monitoring, risks management and city stakeholders coordination.
HAZUR® Manager is also ready to be deployed in existing urban platform ecosystems or be used as the main platform to monitor data and know, in real time, the state of the city and make historical graphics and analysis focused on improving resilience of urban services and infrastructures in cities.

A PIONEER COMPANY IN URBAN RESILENCE
Barcelona City Council, in collaboration with IQS, started the 3S Project, aimed to guarantee the continuity of service supply in the city under any situation of urban impact.
As a result of this collaboration, the first Barcelona Resilience Board was set up, now successfully running – supporting the management and the coordination of urban services.
Building on this success, OptiCits was established as a private spin-off to develop solutions potentially applicable to any city. OptiCits currently shares its experiences and knowledge via an online Certification Programme in Urban Resilience. The Programme gives free access to the HAZUR tool while requiring to follow a training and certification process; it involves international R&D centers from France, USA and UK and allows the creation of a global network of Certified Urban Resilience Experts from cities and organizations.
